Michael Middleton lifts up his daughter’s veil.
There were a couple things that annoyed me about Catherine and William’s wedding. Like for instance they only got pictures of moments I wished I could’ve seen up close on video. With so many news stations (especially in the US) covering it I’d hope they would have different angles. Like her father lifting her veil, or her and William’s reaction to trying to get the ring on her finger, or Pippa curtsying and Harry bowing to the Queen. Stuff like that I’d like to see on video instead of just pictures of it. Matter of fact I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of Pippa curtsying at all….
I don’t know about the curtsying part, but I believe stations were told to give father and daughter privacy during the lifting of the veil. It might have been for cutesy reasons or because they didn’t think it came out as graceful on video, but that’s is what I remember reading and hearing on videos at that time.
There is a picture that you can see Harry bowing and Pippa Curtsying indeed…

But I agree with the first post. I would’ve loved to have the video of those moments though…
Many people take issue with Chelsy Davy walking away from Harry because she didn’t want the life of a royal. Well, maybe now in light of the Harry naked photos and of course the Kate topless photos, maybe people will be a bit more understanding in Chelsy’s decision.

I’ve never been able to understand why people think Chelsy wanted all the fame that came with being Harry’s girlfriend because she obviously didn’t. If anything I think that makes her an amazing woman for not wanting to give up her life and career. She’s shown that in certain circumstances you have to put yourself before someone else, no matter how much you love them.
